Hayden Butte White 'A'; Town Lake/Salt River; Center for the Arts

TempeHiker visited downtown Tempe to get pictures of the Hayden Butte 'A' painted white.

We parked our car on the north-side of Town Lake at Mill Avenue and walked west toward Priest Drive.

The light-rail bridge has a math equation engraved on it.

There were numerous dead fish like this one floating in Town Lake.

We continued heading west on the north-side to Priest.

We crossed the Salt River bottom using the Priest Drive bridge.

The following fence banners were located near the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA).

We walked east along Rio Salado Blvd. back to downtown Tempe.

The south-side of the light-rail bridge has a picture of the math equation located on the north-side of the bridge.

We walked through Beach Park. We noticed the old trestle was in bad condition and we saw two guys playing baseball with tennis balls on Tempe Field.

We had come downtown to get pictures of a white 'A' on Hayden Butte.

We returned to our car by walking north over the Mill Avenue bridge from which we took a picture of the Center for the Arts.
