Mid-October Sunrise on Hayden Butte in Tempe, Arizona

On 15 October 2005, TempeHiker went downtown to take pictures of the guitars adorning the Mill Avenue District located in downtown Tempe, Arizona. The guitars are part of a Guitar Mania program.

TempeHiker parked at the Town Lake to catch a sunrise from Hayden Butte. He went downtown on an early Saturday morning to avoid people. He took guitar pictures while walking to Hayden Butte and he took more pictures after hiking Hayden Butte. TempeHiker visited the Tempe baseball field after taking guitar pictures.

TempeHiker took too long to walk to Hayden Butte and as a result missed the sunrise by about five minutes. This did not, however, stop him from taking some pictures.

While walking the Mill Avenue District taking pictures of guitars, TempeHiker came across girlie litter.

TempeHiker is unhappy with the name of Tempe's old baseball field. It should be called Tempe Field

Tempe's Town Lake has fun litter cans.

TempeHiker heard a train a-com'in and a-go'in.
