This is the Willamette River.

We left the Portland Airport heading south on I-205 and parked in downtown Milwaukie 18 miles into the roadtrip.

While wandering downtown Milwaukie, RoadHacker noticed there were at least a couple of comic stores open for business. While working on this roadtrip report, RoadHacker read in the Wikipedia that Milwaukie is the hometown of Dark Horse Comics.
