| Although we spent four nights in Alexandria, we waited until
Day Five to visit
downtown. (
another view)
Alexandria has lots of old buildings like the
Friendship Firehouse,
Old Town Theatre and
The Lyceum.
At the western end of old town Alexandria is a
George Washington Memorial. The memorial is
located across the stree from the
train station where commuters can
kiss and ride their way to various places.
While walking back to the car, we came across a
healthy flower and
Historic Street sign that told us about a
historic street.
