| We took a 361 mile, 2 day/1 night roadtrip to Winslow, Arizona.
I had read in the Arizona Republic that the building adjacent to
Winslow's "Standing On The Corner" city park had been destroyed
due to fire. It is unclear what the city of Winslow will do
about this, but there is a chance that the park will be moved
to another corner.
On our way to the corner we took a yet another picture of the train mural. We stopped at the Whistle Stop for some lunch, but it had gone out of business. The Winslow newspaper is called the Winslow Mail. |
