[speak] ThurmSpeaks::Commencement Speeches: Bush To Obama

George W. Bush was a Yale University graduate and in 2001 he gave Yale's commencement speech.

"To those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions,
I say, well done. And to the 'C' students, I say: you too can
be president.

Barack Obama was a Harvard University graduate and in 2010 he gave the commencement speech at Hampton University.

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, -- none of
which I know how to work -- information becomes a distraction,
a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of
empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation."

Obama could have borrowed from Bush and told the students...

"To those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions,
I say, well done. And to the luddite students, I say: you too
can be president."
