Thurman Speaks About Arizona Republic Gets It Wrong About W. Virginia Miners

The following was sent as a "Letter to the Editor" of the Arizona Republic, but they did not print it.

Arizona Republic headline on page A3 on 4 January 2006:
"12 miners are rescued after 2-day ordeal." The "quick
read" on page A1 titled "They're alive! Relatives rejoice
as 12 W. Va. miners are found safe."

If this had happened with the Wikipedia, it would have taken
a nanosecond for numerous Arizona Republic editorial writers
to exclaim how the Wikipedia was full of mis-information.
The Republic reminds us that just because you pay for
information does not ensure it is trustworthy. The
4 January 2006 newspaper was the Arizona Crapublic.
