### About the Number 12 (twelve)

MathBabbler noticed that there were nBABs (number BABs) for zero through eleven and thirteen; therefore this nBAB about the number twelve was created to fill the gap.

Observe... this nBAB was created on November 13th, which is 11/13. The average of 11 and 13 is 12.

A day is split into two `12` parts (a.m. and p.m.).

`12 = sqrt(144)`

The Wikipedia says `12` is a highly composite number (a positive integer with more divisors than any smaller positive integer).

The Wikipedia also stated that `12` is a superfactorial (it is a product of the 1st three factorials `1! * 2! * 3! = 1 * 2 * 6 = 12`).

##### Update::2012.12.12 (redone on 2013.05.02)

148 equals `12` and `1212` equals 14. In other words, octal (base-8) 14 equals decimal (base-10) `12` and duodecimal (base-`12`) `12` equals decimal (base-10) 14.

This nBAB was four years old when this update was made. The MBNA on 12/12/12 produced the following additional information about the number `12`.

```   12 is refactorable (evenly divisable by # of divisors)
12 is not a Squarefree Number: 4,
12 is pentagonal
12 is pronic (oblong)
12 is the sum of 2 consecutive primes (5+7)
12 = 4^2 - 2^2 and 2 * (4 + 2) = 12
```
