MathBabbler was freeing up disk space on his home computer when he came across this alcohol prohibited sign. The sign was discovered in Portland, Oregon, during the summer of 2006.

The alcohol prohibited sign says...

+--------------------+ | Alcoholic | | Beverages | | Prohibited | | Park Closed | | 12:01am - 5:00am | <-- one minute after midnight is not a typo | Chapter 20 | | Portland City Code | +--------------------+: used as a delimiter the numbers are: 12 1 5 0 20 the math is: sqrt(5 * 20) = 12 - 1 - 0! observe... 5 * 20 = 100 sqrt(100) = 10 0! = 1 [solve for 'n'] sqrt(5 * n) = 12 - 1 - 0!
