## About Finding These Road Signs

These road signs were discovered while finishing a roadtrip to Winkelman. Earlier in the day, while heading east on US Hwy-60, we noticed standalone clearance signs that read

`16 ft. - 4 in.`

. Upon returning to town, heading west on US Hwy-60, the road signs used in this BARS was the only one that read`16 ft. - 4. in.`

; however, the`48th St.`

sign complicated the math.if only two numbers... sqrt(16) = 4## Off by an Inch

When we initially looked at these road signs for math, we discovered an off-by-one example.

48 / 16 = 3 [the 3 needs to be 4] in this case, we are off by an inch
