RoadHacker saw two off-by-one road signs while driving east on I-10 in Arizona. RoadHacker did not get pictures, but Tyler was riding shotgun he jotted down the information contained in the road signs.

The first off-by-one road sign says...

+---------+ | Exit 31 | | US 60 | | 2 Mile | +---------+the numbers are: 31 60 2 the off-by-one math is: 60 / 2 = 31 - 1The second off-by-one road sign says...

+-----------------+ | Rest Area 5 | | Tonopah 12 | | Phoenix 64 | +-----------------+the numbers are: 5 12 64 the off-by-one math is: 12 - 5 = sqrt(64) - 1The two off-by-one road signs can be set equal to one another.

the numbers are: 31 60 2 5 12 64 the math is: 31 - (60 / 2) = sqrt(64) + 5 - 12
