### BARS::54 Miles North of Clifton on US Hwy-191 in Arizona

This BAB was created mid-October of 2006, but it not posted. It was updated at the end of 2007 and it was supposed to be posted after that update, but it wasn't. This BAB was updated again during mid-March 2008 and that is when it finally got posted.

This road sign is on southbound US Hwy-191 in Arizona.

```   +----------------+
Morenci     50
Clifton     54
Safford     98
+----------------+
```
```   the numbers are:  50  54  98
the math is:  No Math Found
```

Note: 191 is a palindromic prime number.

##### Classic BARS Seen on US Hwy-191/US Hwy-180

US Hwy-191 is considered one of the curviest roads in Arizona (although it does have a few straight stretches). Just south of ??? on AZ Hwy-191, RoadHacker saw a road sign that was a classic BARS.

```   Fake town names used; only the mileages can be recalled.
+---------------------+
Fooville          7
Gootown           8
Holbrook?        56
+---------------------+
the numbers are:  7  8  56
the math is:  7 * 8 = 56
```

MathBabbler was not able to get a picture of the classic BARS, but he will someday.

##### Update::2007.12.08

On 11/26/2007, the spf(n) function was created. The function outputs the sum of the prime factors of the input. This road sign was re-examined using the spf(n) function.

```   ==================================
spf(n)    prime factors     output
==================================
spf(50)     2...5...5         12
spf(12)     2...2...3         7
spf(54)     2...3...3...3     11
spf(98)     2...7...7         16
spf(16)     2...2...2...2     8
spf(8)      2...2...2         6
spf(6)      2...3             5
the numbers are:  50   54   98
the math is:  50 + sqrt(spf(98)) = 54
```
##### Update::2008.03.16

MathBabbler re-visited this classic BARS on Pi Day 2008 (i.e. 3/14/2008).
