Fall 2009 Semester to Winter 2009 Break Transition

There were 193 BABs posted during the Fall 2009 BABbling session, The session was 123 days long, which is a BABbling rate of 1.57 BABs per day.

60 existing BABs were updated a total of 88 times during the Fall 2009 session.

The Fall 2009 BABbling session ended with 2626 BABs. 615 of the BABs were BARS (Basic Arithmetic Road Signs), 171 of them were Basic Algebra Bits (algeBABs) and 306 of them were number BABs (nBABs).

With respect to BARS... Signs (two of them) from outside the United States were used for the first time. And the rsTweetLenEval was added to the system.

With respect to nBABs... There were 20 nBAB collections at the end of the Fall 2009 session and four programs were added to the MBNA (MathBabbler Number Analyst) during the session.

It was decided that BADs (Basic Arithmetic Dates) were going to become top-level BABs (just like BARS and nBABs).

There were 22 postings to the MathBabbler blog during the Fall 2009 session.

MathBabbler started using Twitter on 8 June 2009. The Summer 2009 session ended with 142 tweets and 37 followers. The Fall 2009 session ended with 402 tweets and 62 followers.
