Federal Reserve Keeps Interest Rates Unchanged (2007.05.09)

On 9 May 2007, the Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged 5.25%. This was the seventh period in a row rates have remained steady after seventeen consecutive periods of increases.

The "federal funds rate" is what banks charge each other for overnight loans.
