Cray's 2007 First Quarter Results

Seattle, WA-based Supercomputer maker Cray Inc. reported first quarter results for 2007.

   "Total revenue for the quarter was $47.1 million compared 
    to $48.5 million in the prior year period. Net loss for 
    the quarter improved to ($0.8 million) or ($0.03) per share 
    compared to a net loss of ($5.3 million) or ($0.24) per share 
    in the first quarter of 2006."

   "Cash and short-term investment balances as of March 31, 2007 
    were $147.6 million compared to $140.3 million reported as 
    of December 31, 2006."

Diluted weighted average shares outstanding were 31,484,000 versus 22,338,000 a year ago.

During December of 2006, Cray completed a public offering of 8,625,000 shares of common stock at a price of $10.00 per share.
