EastValleyTribune.com printed an AP (Associated Press) story about a southern Taiwanese county attempt to make the Guinness World Records by setting off an
8.1-milelong firecracker. The report indicated it would take two hours for the firecracker to finish crackling fire. Supposedly, the previous record was a seven mile firecracker by Spain.
