Scooby-Doo Designer Iwao Takamoto Dies at Age 81

Iwao Takamoto died at the age of 81 on 8 January 2007. Iwao was a "production designer for Hanna-Barbera Productions" and he was "responsible for the original character design of such characters as Scooby Doo, The Jetsons' dog Astro, and Penelope Pitstop."

I wasn't going to create a BAB about Takamoto's death primarily because I have already created a BAB about the number 81. I changed my mind upon learning that the name Scooby-Doo was from the song "Strangers in the Night" by Frank Sinatra.

Exercises
  1. Frank Sinatra was born on 12 December 1915 and he died on 14 May 1998. No or Yes: Sinatra lived longer than Takamoto.

  2. Takamoto was born in 1925. No or Yes: Takamoto had a birthday in 2007.

  3. No or Yes: 81 = 92 = 34
