[side-bar] One of my all-time favorite songs is Signs by the Five Man Electrical Band. Verse one of the song goes as follows.

"And the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply
So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him why
He said you look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do
So I took off my hat I said imagine that, huh, me working for you"

[another side-bar] You approach an office door and the sign says...

   Back in 5 minutes...

5 minutes from when? 1 minute ago? 4 minutes ago? May be a moot point given a 5 minute time frame, but what if the sign says...

   Back in 25 minutes...

Now the question gains importance: 25 minutes from when?

Back to the number 5... 25 is a perfect square because the square root of 25 is 5.
